This lift station and pipeline improvement project consisted of an alignmentstudy to investigate alternate routes for a proposed 15-inch sanitarysewer gravity pipeline and dual (8" and 12") parallel sanitary forcemains. 

Once the study was completed and an alignment selected the actualdesign and preparation of construction documents and construction managementservices commenced. The 4,200 linear feet alignment is from a proposed3.2 mgd lift station that will be constructed at 67th Avenue and SoftwindDrive to an existing temporary lift station that will be dismantledat 61st Avenue and Charlotte Drive. The alignment followed a naturalwash for approximately one-half of the alignment length requiring a404 permit with the Army Corp of Engineers. 

Supplemental work included:

• Topographic survey
• Staking
• Architectural design of decorative masonry screen walls
• Preparation of colored renderings
• Mitigation of native vegetation
• Right-of-way investigation
• Coordination and meetings with the community and adjacent property owners and preparation of exhibits for the Army Corp of Engineers 404 Permit.
