 PEC's task was to provide bridge replacement of the Woody Wash Bridgeand a drainage study along US 89A between Oak Creek Canyon and theFlagstaff Highway.
PEC prepared construction plans for removal andreplacement of the existing bridge. A drainage study was preparedincluding an HEC-2 analysis to assist the ADOT - Structures Section inthe preparation of a bridge selection report.
The scope of work alsoincluded the preparation of: - Alternate highway designs reflecting bridge placement vs. box culvert
- Detour plans
- Earthwork
- Estimates
- Special provisions
- Coordination with the Flagstaff District Engineer, ADOT - Environmental Section and the U.S. Forest Service.
- PEC additionally provided field surveys for this project.
