PEC delineated 35 river miles within the 300 sq. mi. Theba Watershed in south Maricopa County. The watershed is near Gila Bend and south of the Gila River. The study delineated  100-year floodplain on tributaries to the Gila River. A hydrologic analysis was completed to estimate peak discharges for the 100-year storm runoff. PEC developed the technical documentation for submission for FEMA for inclusion in the National Flood Insurance Program.
