This project was a major reconstruction of Harrison Blvd. and Dixon Drive at the entrance to Weber State University.  Significant design elements for this project included roadway realignment and reconstruction, utility improvements, two traffic signals, and the addition of two double lane roundabouts.  Heavy public involvement with local residents and campus users, coordination with adjacent businesses, and an accelerated design and construction schedule were particular challenges with this project.  The design was also complicated by sensitive buildings, coordination with other campus construction projects, architectural elements, practice fields, and the separation of roundabouts and traffic signals concerning phasing/timing.  Landscape architecture was also a critical element to the success of this project.
