This 10 acres site located in Provo Utah consist of  85,000 sq. ft. warehouse with 15,000 sq. ft of office space and a future 40,000 sq. ft. of warehouse.  PEC provided the Civil Engineering for the project and Barry Bunderson was the project engineer.  PEC provided survey of the site and the layout of 370 parking stalls with drive aisles to accommodate large delivery trucks. Layout also included for 6 loading docks as well as for a future basketball court, storage facilities, and play areas.  Design included grading for 204,000 square feet of parking area, design of 2,000 linear feet of storm drainage piping, and 6 interconnected detention ponds and outlet control structures, design  of 1,750 linear feet of domestic water and fire protection lines looping the 10 acres site as well as construction details.  The site was particularly challenging due to high ground water coupled with corrosive soils, iron slag remnants and steep terrain. PEC was instrumental in the value engineering leading to the development of Construction Documents.  PEC also provided the construction staking services during the construction phase of the project.
