Campo Bello Detention Basin, City of Phoenix

PEC provided design services for a 26-acre detention basin and park facility at Campo Bello Drive from 9th Street to 12th Street. The project included a master plan process with community involvement and public hearings. PEC provided improvement plans for two adjacent local streets, inlet and outlet structures for a 4-foot x 6-foot box culvert, 9-foot RCP and 90-inch RCP, grading and contouring to permit usage of the park after the 2-year, 5-year and 10-year storm events, and box culvert designs. Additional work included structural designs, landscaping, sprinkler system design, site planning, parking lot design, striping and traffic flow, grading and drainage, boundary and topographic surveys.
