PEC's assignment was the structural design, preparation of construction plans and specifications for the renovation of the scale pit. The project included a new 90-foot static scale platform with approach and departure ramps per NTEP guidelines. PEC additionally provided utility coordination, the field survey demolition plan, coordination of electrical and traffic design, and construction inspection services.
