Moon Valley Storm Drain, City of Phoenix

PEC designed and provided survey services for two and one-half miles of 84-inch major trunk storm drain in Moon Valley Road from 7th Street to Cave Creek Wash. The work element included preparation of a storm drain alignment study, construction plans, specifications, estimates, details, pipe sizing and hydraulics. Water line relocation plans were prepared to provide the most economical construction of the storm drain pipe. An outlet structure into the Cave Creek Wash was also designed. The project was a "Fast Track" project due to an available major street construction window.
