Woody Wash Bridge, Arizona Department of Transportation

PEC's task was to provide bridge replacement of the Woody Wash Bridge and a drainage study along US 89A between Oak Creek Canyon and the Flagstaff Highway. PEC prepared construction plans for removal and replacement of the existing bridge. A drainage study was prepared including an HEC-2 analysis to assist the ADOT - Structures Section in the preparation of a bridge selection report. The scope of work also included the preparation of alternate highway designs reflecting bridge placement vs. box culvert, detour plans, earthwork, estimates, special provisions and coordination with the Flagstaff District Engineer, ADOT - Environmental Section and the U.S. Forest Service. PEC additionally provided field surveys for this project.
