Southern Avenue Sanitary Sewer Line, City of Phoenix

PEC designed a new 36-inch sewer main that will service future development for the Laveen Area. The gravity relief sewer in Southern Avenue is a major component of that system. The proposed gravity relief sewer in Southern Avenue is planned to extend westward from 55st Avenue to 75th Avenue along Southern Avenue to a proposed 25-MGD lift station near Vineyard Drive and 75th Avenue. Design includes aerial mapping, supplemental topography, results-of-survey drawings, legal descriptions, boundary surveys, groundwater dewatering, paving plans, right-of-way plans, two miles of 12-inch water line and verification of the Laveen Master Plan, which is the basis for the estimates of future sewer flows and service requirements for the Laveen Area.
